Several suspects were arrested following a shooting at a Walmart in Florida City. The incident occurred on a Wednesday afternoon and resulted in the death of a 23-year-old man named Nathaniel Baez, while another man sustained injuries but was expected to survive. Witnesses reported hearing six gunshots before chaos erupted in the store, with people scrambling to exit through various exits. Cellphone video captured the aftermath of the shooting, showing people trying to help one of the victims lying on the floor.

The authorities confirmed that the shooting started with a confrontation between two groups, each consisting of three individuals. During the altercation, one person drew a gun and opened fire. Nathaniel Baez, who was involved in the argument, was shot and later succumbed to his injuries. The second victim was an innocent bystander who was struck by a stray bullet.Tragically, two young children were inside the store at the time of the shooting, along with several other customers and workers. The situation could have been much worse if more innocent people, including teenagers, had been injured or killed.

When the police arrived, they apprehended one of the six individuals involved in the altercation, while the other four fled the scene. Three men were eventually arrested in connection with the shooting. Steve Lestin, 25, was charged with second-degree murder and attempted felony murder, while Roberto Dionandre Acevedo, 20, and Jimari Castin Hodge, 21, were charged with battery.
